Another odd thing about Hawaii is that they like spam and it appears on many menus. WE especially liked the Korean version = must be some hangover from wartime rations.
Kung Hee Fat Choy. The Hawaiins celebrated Chinese New Year today and we had a spectacular Lion Dance in the hotel lobby. It is considered lucky to pop a dollar bill into the lions mouth. Martin managed to do this so hopefully the premium bond will come up and we will be able to return to Hawaii.
We are stiill taking Radish out and about with us and here he is on a Hawaiin boat
We had one last visit to Waikiki this evening. It has some beautiful hotels but the main feature in the evening is shops which stay open till 12:30 midnight. Next blog from San Francisco. We are booked on the "Urban Safari" It's a jungle out there!!
